How to protect your counters with Seal Doc’s all-surface sealer
Easily protect your countertops within an hour. Because our sealer is made from non-harmful ingredients, you won’t have to open every single window in your home or kick-out the kids while you’re doing it.
1. Saturate
Seal-Doc’s All-Surface Sealer is a penetrating sealer. Apply generous amounts to a clean countertop with a sponge or paintbrush.
2. Wait
Wait 5 minutes to let your hard surface countertop absorb the sealant. For more porous surfaces, you will need to continue to apply sealant without letting it dry.
3. Wipe
Using a clean cotton cloth, wipe the surface dry taking care to remove any excess product. If the product dried on your surface, simply re-apply sealer to that area and immediately wipe it down.
4. Test
After a waiting period of about 6 hours, simply sprinkle your surface with a few water droplets to reveal a visibly hydrophobic surface.
Your house is a home, not a museum!
With perfectly sealed hard surfaces, you can now indulge in your coffee addiction or fondness for red wine without constantly worrying about ruining your beautiful countertops.

+ How much All-Surface Citra-Seal do I need for my countertops?

Grout, Concrete, Slate
180-400 sqft

Limestone, Travertine, Porous Marble
300-750 sqft

+ How often should I apply Seal Doc’s All-Surface Sealer to my countertops?
The treatment can last up to two years. However for surfaces that are often exposed to liquids, we recommend repeating the treatment on a yearly basis for optimal results.
+ How do I know if my counters are protected against pigmented and acidic liquids?
We encourage our customers to perform a water test after each application. Simply wait 6 hours after you’ve applied Seal Doc’s All-Surface Sealer, and sprinkle a few droplets of water onto it. If the droplets soak into the surface, then you will need to re-apply more sealer.
A protected surface will be visibility hydrophobic. That is to say, that the droplets of water will create little bubbles on top of your counter instead of being absorbed into it.
+ Will your sealer alter the appearance of my countertop?
Seal Doc’s All-Surface Sealer will not alter the appearance of Granite, Marble, Quartzite, or soapstone.
However it will alter the appearance of Slate, concrete and travertine.
